Human Trafficking is the third largest and one of the fastest growing crimes in our world today, and it is a major problem right here in America. According to the National Weekend of Prayer Coalition, the average at which a girl enters prostitution in this country is 14 and in some states as low as 12.
The General Council of the Assemblies of God is among numerous endorsing churches and organizations across the nation, including the Family Research Council and the National Association of Evangelicals that supports raising awareness and providing a prayer covering.
During the weekend of January 11-13, 2013, a number of prayer initiatives will be launched to combat this evil.
Go to www.weekendofprayer.net for more information about how you can partner with the Weekend of Prayer. Please plan to participate in this prayer initiative, praying that this tide of evil will be diminished and that enslaved children and youth will be set free.
